Somerset were facing the prospect of a major first innings deficit against Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge on day two of their Division One game.

At the break, Somerset CCC had taken just one morning wicket when Charl Willoughby had Bilal Shafayat caught behind for 19.

Adam Voges was on 56 and Ali Brown was unbeaten on 46 in Notts' 153-4.
