Michaela Whooley turned in a super first-half showing as Longwell Green Under-14s swept to a 3-0 victory over Backwell Athletic.

Amy Hardy started the scoring, embarking on a skilful run and finish before setting up Whooley for her first goal.

Longwell kept up the pressure to allow Whooley to net her second and Longwell's third from a cross.

Backwell showed more fight in the second half but good defensive work from Katy Vernon, Lucy Harris, Beth Frayling and Lily Anslow, and solid midfield contributions by Caitlin Saunders and Chloe Harris, kept them at bay.

Katie Johns hit a hat-trick as Ashton Girls Under-14s continued their fine form with an excellent 6-1 win at Swindon Spitfires.

Johns' triple helped Ashton into the interval with a 4-1 lead, Kerry Ballard and Jessie Hawkes (2) sealing the success with the rest of the goals.

Portishead Under-10s finished their season in fine style with two excellent wins in a double-header with Downend.

Player-of-the-matches Chelsea Hill scored three goals over the two games.

Sophie Dumine struck twice, one an absolute rocket and the other a delicate lob. Further goals from Izzy Batchelor and Kyla Probert secured six-well earned points and fifth place in the table for Portishead.

Keeper Aimee Morgan and defenders Eloise Hubbard, Rosie Collings and Emily Dickens began many of Portishead's passing moves and ensured a clean sheet in both games, as they completed 3-0 and 4-0 victories respectively.

St Nicholas Under-10s were held to a draw for only the second time this season against a determined Frampton Rangers A team.

Frampton defender Rosie Williams had a great game, as did midfielders Ellie Todd, Maddison Buss, Paige Botta and Jess Jefferies.

Lauren Penny enjoyed a lively outing in attack and scored the only goal of the first half to put them 1-0 up.

Saints refused to give in and they eventually got back on level terms in the second half.

Kelsie Gunstone was the hero as Keynsham Town Under-12s secured the B-League title with a 1-0 away win over Downend A.

Both keepers made excellent saves to keep the first half scoreless, while the Downend team worked tirelessly to stifle Town's leading scorers Charlie Anne Alford and Victoria Powell.

After the restart, player-of-the-match Gunstone combined well with Danielle Ash to cause Downend increasing problems and they eventually snatched the crucial goal when Gunstone's low right-footed shot found the net.

Six goals from leading scorer Estelle Randall helped Bristol Central Under-12s to a 6-3 victory over battling Backwell.

The beaten side came back strongly in the second half but found it hard to contain the skilful running of Shanique Pierre and Randall's lethal instincts.

Longwell Green B Under-12s produced a splendid performance to overcome Portishead 7-2.

They took the lead with a sweet Lauren Griffin strike before Alicia Edwards finished well for their second.

Emily Flowers shot just wide before Edwards doubled her tally to extend the advantage to 3-0.

When Portishead did press they found Longwell keeper Ellie Evans in outstanding form, while at the other end the goals kept coming, Kayleigh Graham netting for Longwell before half-time to make it 4-0.

Portishead began the second half purposefully, hitting two quick goals, only for Longwell to strike back going on to score three more times through Edwards, who completed her hat-trick and added another for good measure, and Graham's second.

Downend Flyers Under-12s produced a fantastic display and were unfortunate to fall to just the single goal against champions Keynsham Town, to the delight of manager Andy Green who was full of praise for his side's efforts.

Southside Under-15s got the better of AEK Boco in an eagerly-awaited encounter that had been postponed three times due to bad weather.

Southside applied pressure from the start and an own goal 20 minutes into the opening period from a corner handed them the initiative in the 3-0 win.

Becky Collins scored the second with a fine shot from just outside the penalty area, before the same player added a third.

Bristol Central Under-14s bade a fitting farewell to team manager Jules Cook as they beat Keynsham 3-1.

The popular Cook, who was voted South West Sports Personality of the Year 2008, will continue to chair the club after five years at the helm.

Two goals for Samika Mack and the other from Chrissie Kettle ensured Central ended their campaign on a winning note.
