White wedding to remember for Bristol couple
IT was quite literally a white wedding for one bride who battled through the snow to make it to her nuptials.
Natalie Britton, 33, was an hour and 15 minutes late for her wedding in South Gloucestershire yesterday after her hairdresser and flower arrangers got stuck in the snow.

After calling in a favour from a hairdressing friend and taking her flowers with her, Natalie faced gridlocked roads and icy conditions as she travelled with her sister from their home in St George, Bristol, to the Tortworth Court Four Pillars Hotel.
Waiting anxiously was groom Philip Cass, 36, a rapid response paramedic, and their 22-month-old son Ethan.
The new Mrs Cass, an ambulance technician, said at one point she didn't think she would make it to the ceremony on time, where all her guests were waiting.
"We finally got on the road and there was a lorry turning in front of us and the car just skidded on the ice towards it, luckily stopping just in time," she said.
"When we got on to the motorway the speed limit was 30 miles an hour and the traffic and snow was really heavy.
"At that point I was quite tearful and I didn't think I'd get there."
The ceremony was put back an hour from 11am and Mrs Cass finally arrived at 12.15pm.
Only two of the 35 guests didn't make it but Mrs Cass said the snow meant that the children of friends and a teacher friend could come to the ceremony as their schools were closed.
Mr and Mrs Cass met at work for Great Western Ambulance Service seven years ago.
"The car was waiting at the end of the road for two hours for us, I had my work boots on and work trousers so that I could get changed at the hotel but as time was running out I had to do my make up in the car," she said.
They got engaged at Christmas and hastily booked the first date that was available at the hotel.
"Throughout last night I kept looking through the window hoping it would stop snowing, and today I blamed myself for choosing the date," said Mrs Cass.
"But it was worth it. Everyone says the pictures in the snow are amazing and it makes it a day everyone will remember."
