Whitchurch extended their lead at the top of Sunday Conference Division One after beating nearest rivals Headley Park by 95 runs.

Rob Bailey, who scored 135 for Knowle West on Saturday, followed up by scoring 74 in the Village's total of 199-9 and claiming 5-22 as Park were dismissed for 104.

Whitchurch had also been boosted by Ben Jefferies' 43, while Rob Seely was the pick of the Park bowlers with 3-33.

Saltford Fairway ended a seven-game losing run by beating Purnells by 143 runs.

Batting first, Saltford posted 219-9 with Wes Taynton top-scoring with 43.

Jack Davies was the most successful of the Purnells bowlers with a personal best of 5-64. In reply, the Paulton-based side collapsed to 76 all out, Jake Evans-Jones finishing with 4-23.

Paz strengthened their grip at the top of Division Two after beating second-placed Chew Stoke by six wickets as Khalid hit a quickfire 45.

Bitton revived their promotion hopes with a 40-run victory over bottom side Kilmersdon.

Batting first, the visitors scored 170-8 as Ian Dixon, who scored a century when these sides met in May, made 32 alongside Matt Chappell (42).

Winford eased their relegation fears with a 78-run win at Old England Bristol Sikhs after Michael Cole finished with 4-14.

In Division Three, second-placed Barrow Gurney closed the gap at the top to just two points after inflicting a 39-run defeat on Blagdon.

Batting first Barrow posted 203-8, Ben Figueiredo top-scoring with 31.

Blagdon were promisingly placed at 84-2 in reply, but the dismissal of Simon Robertson, for 42, saw the home side lose five wickets for 42 runs to end their hopes. Paul Glazzard took 3-34.

Churchways ended their losing spell with a 17-run victory at home to Harptree Villages as Stuart Potter took 4-36 in a low-scoring contest.

Bristol Bangladeshis returned to the top of Division Four with a 36-run victory over Easton Cowboys.

Batting first, the Bangladeshis scored 211 as Kabia Ahmed hit 60 before Tufail Ahmed took 3-20.

Claverham's match was abandoned at Backwell Flax Bourton when precariously placed at 39-6.

Bristol Indians recorded their first win in three games – a nine-wicket win at Winford.

The Gregorians were dismissed for just 62, Naz Singh taking 4-10 in five overs, a personal best in the Sunday Conference.
