The world's youngest DJ Jack Hill, is flying to Italy this weekend to assist with a world-record attempt.
The eight-year-old from Weston-super-Mare has been invited to Alessandria to help DJ Stefano Venneri on Radio BBSI. Stefano is already a world record holder for The Longest Radio DJ Marathon at 135 hours set in April 2007.

Now he has his sights on a new record, which he hopes to set on Saturday, April 18, DJing while suspended upside down from a crane 20 feet in the air.
Jack's part will be to play a three-hour set at the same time from 9am to noon in front of thousands of people in a stadium in Alessandria.
The young DJ, known as DJ Jack on a Box, because he has to stand on a box to reach the controls, will be introducing songs as well as reading the news.
He will be assisted by an Italian boy or girl who will translate what Jack is saying live on air.
Jack's dad Bob, also a DJ, said the whole family were excited and looked forward to the trip. Jack already holds three world records and first became a Guinness Record holder at six, for World's Youngest DJ.
He said: "Jack was contacted by Stefano about the possibility of doing a joint world record. Although this never materialised he still wanted Jack to take part and the trip is fully paid for by Stefano, Radio BBSI and his sponsors." Aside from his show on Star radio 107.7 he has a regular Saturday gig from 8pm to 9pm at the Major from Glengarry pub in Weston.
