Weston's winning run ended by Havant
Weston-super-Mare 0 Havant & Waterlooville 1: Weston failed in their quest for a third successive Blue Square South win, falling at home to Havant.
Weston had to start without Alex Kite, Charlie Comyn-Platt, Manny Williams, Marc McGregor and Jack Compton and lost influential central defender Craig Rand after 32 minutes, teenager Sam Johnson taking over.
In a scrappy game, spoilt by high winds, there were few scoring chances.
Weston's best chance fell to youth team captain Dayle Grubb, who forced a corner, and Andy Gurney tested Havant keeper Kevin Scriven from distance.
Havant came more into the game into the second half, Luke Medley breaking through on 47 minutes but the ball ran away in the wind.
The visitors came close again on 50 minutes when Jamie Collins tested Ryan Northmore.
The only goal came on 62 minutes when Craig Watkins headed in Luke Nightingale's cross.
Substitute Ryan Havard tested Scriven for Weston's best chance of the second half.
