Westbury Harriers have been confirmed as the winners of the team event at the recent Bristol half marathon.

The trio of Robyn Golding, Emma D'Alton and Catherine Dulla have been awarded top spot ahead of Team Bath AC, with the Bristol & West AC trio of Claire Hallissey, Nicola Brookland and Holly Williamson third.

Bristol & West also took third spot in the men's event, which was won by Thames Hare & Hounds, while the Great Western Runners' quartet of Jon Hanley, Ben Morley, Paul Harper and Tom Fewster were second.

In the veteran prizes, Peter Willoughby of Hogweed Trotters won the over-60s age group, while Phil Parry, Steve Duddell and Terry Welch finished third in the over-40s, over-50s and over-60s categories respectively.

Bristol & West's Nicola Brookland won the over-35s prize, while Zina Marchant and Jo Jay finished one-two in the over-55s section.
