Dan West and Sarah Brown won the main titles at the Avon County Senior Squash Championships, held at Bristol Lawn Tennis and Squash Club, Redland.

West, a student at the University of the West of England, won 3-2 in the final against Barney Elworthy, having come back from 2-1 down.

Brown also had some tough matches on her way to winning the women's event.

Other winners at the tournament, which attracted 115 entries, were: Men's B – Ian Stuart; Men's C – Lee Maynard; Men's D – Ruoshan Yau; Women's B – Erica Howcroft.
