Weekend weather: Met Office issues rain warnings for South West

The Met Office has issued rain warnings for the South West following heavy rain last night and more forecasted to fall over the weekend.

It says there is an increased risk of localised flooding.

Tonight heavy rain is forecast, but it is likely to clear by dawn.

Some mist or fog will develop where skies clear later. Temperatures will be dropping to 6C.

    “That's not the forecast I've seen. Anyway it was warm and sunny yesterday (Saturday) in Bristol and is doing pretty much the same today. I blame the Lib Dems and cyclists; between them they seem to get blamed for everything else bad that happens in Bristol.”
