Weaving's heroics prove to be in vain for Brislington
BRISLINGTON'S Molly Weaving produced several fine saves, but could not prevent her side tumbling to a 4-0 defeat at Henbury Under-15s.
Molly Steedman's goal was the only difference between the teams in the first half, as Leah Perrott and Emma Sims worked tirelessly in midfield for visiting Bris.

Henbury came out the stronger in the second half and further goals from Jayde Cook, Krista Matthews and Georgia Sandle ensured they ran out comfortable winners.
Bradley Stoke Under-10s came out on top 3-1 in a high-tempo tussle against AEK Boco White.

Boco enjoyed only a one-point advantage ahead of their opponents going into the contest, having played a game more.
But it was Stoke who stole the lead when Kayleigh Jennings, who scored a hat-trick in the previous week's 4-1 win at Bristol Ladies Red, latched on to a Lydia Tang through ball to slot home and give the away side a 1-0 half-time lead.
The visitors struck twice more after the interval as Paige Fowler tapped in from close range and Maddie Hilbert scored from just inside the box before Boco grabbed a late consolation.
IN the Somerset Girls' Cup, a perfect hat-trick by Imogen Fisher - a right-foot finish, a left-foot shot and a header - was the highlight of Backwell Athletic Under-14s' comfortable 10-1 first round win over a spirited Fry Club team.
Ellie Bray scored twice, the first in finishing off a fantastic nine-player move, while Lauren Malone also bagged a brace and Kierra Greenslade and players-of-the-match, Cat Coates and Carys Hector, added the rest.
