Weather warning for rain issued for Bristol/Somerset
A yellow warning for rain has been issued for Thursday affecting Bristol, Somerset and Dorset, with a risk of localised flooding after the recent downpours have led to sodden ground.
Thursday's warning, in place from 12.01am to 11.59pm, follows on from heavy rain warnings for Wednesday for parts of Dorset and Somerset.
The Met Office's chief forecaster has said that an intense depression will form to the South West of England on Wednesday and Thursday but there is uncertaintly about the amount of rainfall at this stage.
