Almondsbury Town made it 10 successive Hellenic League Premier Division victories with a 3-0 victory at Chalfont Wasps.

With Hungerford Town not in action, the result lifted Almondsbury to second in the table, with Shortwood United going top after beating Hook Norton 4-2 at home.

Paul Weeks' side went in front at Chalfont with a goal from debutant Dion Noakes. The striker, who stepped up from the reserves, struck in the 29th minute. Almondsbury added further goals in the second half through Adam Cole and Kane Ingram to wrap up a comfortable victory.

In Division One, Winterbourne United were 6-1 winners at Cricklade. Tom Blyth nodded them in front after five minutes after a Mark Nash header had come back off the crossbar.

Jimmy Potts pounced to make it 2-0 after eight minutes when the Cricklade goalkeeper failed to hold a Mark Hughes effort, and the visitors were 3-0 up after just 12 minutes after James Mainstone made a superb run from halfway and slotted the ball home.

A Mark Totterdell header came back off the bar for Potts to volley home Winterbourne's fourth in the 20th minute, but slack defensive play allowed Cricklade to pull a goal back before half-time.

Potts completed his hat-trick with a solo effort after 70 minutes, with substitute Jensen Mannings completing the scoring with five minutes left to play after a good run by Potts.

Tytherington Rocks took the lead against Lydney Town after 19 minutes thanks to striker Mark Greenland, but the visitors equalised to take a point six minutes later.
