Walking for water charity
FUNDRAISERS will walk along Bristol's Harbourside this weekend for charity WaterAid.
The walkers will take a six-mile route on Saturday as part of the charity's national campaign Coastalong.
Pameli Benham, of the Bristol group, said: "We know that Bristol hasn't got a coast, but there's plenty of water and a great many interesting and beautiful things to see in our roughly six mile walk – with a three mile child-and-buggy-friendly alternative route.
"We'll be starting at 11am from the M shed and finishing with free refreshments at the M shed. We'll be handing out maps and information sheets and there will be plenty of signs along the way."

Ms Benham added: "In poorer parts of the world people have to walk miles to fetch water. We want Bristolians to walk so they don't have to."
