“@Lone_Ranger, as I wrote in my post, I'm with NOTBITTER1 100% of the way...”

“PPusher - you'd stand by and watch someone die of a heart attack and do absolutely nothing because it's "someone else's job"?”

“Oh, I'm with NOTBITTER1. It's not like driving at an arbitrary speed has ever hurt anyone, or even has the potential to hurt anyone. Speed limits are just a law that has been invented to generate a bit of tax revenue.
And, like ***ITTER1, I get so angry when people who are paid to do these jobs ask for our help! Yesterday I was following an ambulance through town. On the back of it was a poster where they had the temerity to tell ME how to administer CPR, as if - somehow - doing this sort of thing was part of a general social responsibility rather than WHAT THEY ARE PAID TO DO.”

“How is a charge "trumped-up" if the law states that 30mph is the maximum speed on a road, and you are driving faster than that? You have broken the law: if you're not prepared to abide by traffic laws, then don't drive.”

“what do we pay their wages for. so they can catch motorist doing 35 mph in a 30mph zone. and other cash cow Trumped up charges. FIND THEM YOUR SELF THATS WHAT YOUR PAID TO DO.”
