Winterbourne United moved away from the re-election zone with a crucial 2-1 victory at Bristol Manor Farm.

Dave Herbert and Jensen Mannings were on target for Winterbourne, while Dan Webb struck Farm's consolation goal.

Another team at the wrong end of the table, Thornbury Town, improved their points tally with a 1-1 draw at the New Lawn against Forest Green Rovers.

Tom Garland's penalty for Thornbury was cancelled out by an Eddie Jones goal for the home side.

In the final midweek match, Yate Town won 2-0 at Cheltenham Saracens to extend their lead at the top of the table over Cadbury Heath, although the latter have games in hand. On target for Town were Troy Budd and Charlie Lacey.

In weekend games, Wotton Rovers surprisingly lost 2-0 at home to Thornbury, while Longwell Green Sports picked up a good home point by drawing 2-2 with Gala Wilton.
