Violent robbery in Southmead - Can you help?

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a violent nightime robbery in Southmead.

A MAN walking along Southmead Road in the direction of Filton at 9pm onThursday, November 22 was struck in the face and knocked to the ground.

While the victim lay shocked and prone on the ground his assailant rifled through his pockets and stole his wallet.

Officers investigating this incident would now like to speak to a man who was seen in the area around the time. He is described as white, around 5ft 10 inches tall, of a medium build and wearing a hooded style top.
