VIDEO: How to design a car for the stresses of 1,000mph
The Bristol-based team behind the 1,000mph Bloodhound car have released a new video, giving an insight into the high-tech way they are preparing for the kinds of pressures the car will be put under.
The team hope to take the car to South Africa later this year to challenge the current landspeed record of 763mph, and plan to return in 2014 to attempt to break 1,000mph.
