VIDEO: Bristol Rugby confirm Andy Robinson as new Director of Rugby
Andy Robinson has been confirmed as the new director of rugby at Bristol Rugby Club.
The 48-year-old former England and Scotland head coach will join the club at the beginning of March, in the position which has been created for him. He has signed a four season contract and will work alongside Liam Middleton, who remains the Head Coach.
"This is a hugely significant appointment for Bristol Rugby," said Chairman Chris Booy. "It's a clear indication of the burning ambition of this club."
"Andy is a long term appointment. He has proven experience at international and domestic level, and the necessary acumen to drive Bristol Rugby forward and establish ourselves as a top four Premiership side in the future."

At the press conference this morning Andy Robinson said: "I'm delighted to be joining Bristol Rugby at such an exciting time for the club. Speaking to ThisisBristol after the press conference he said he was delighted to be back working in the west country, and was looking forward to working alongside Liam Middleton.
