Bristol City Supporters' Trust and Manchester United Supporters' Trust joined forces to celebrate the 100th anniversary of United's first FA Cup trophy by replaying the match at the original venue (now the National Sports Centre stadium) and in replica kits.

100 years on - Bristol City take on Manchester United
Manchester United won the 1909 fixture 1-0 and on April 24, 2009, history repeated itself with a 2-1 win for the team that went on to dominate English football while Bristol City have struggled to regain the same heights.
Under boss Gary Johnson, now the 10th longest-serving football league manager, Bristol City are enjoying renewed success though and were 90 minutes away from the top flight, losing last year's Championship play-off final to Hull.
And with a new stadium on the horizon and a committed, wealthy chairman, Bristol City may yet provide entertainment in the FA Cup to match their manager's one-liners:
