VIDEO: Big Brother star Josie Gibson joins Bristol Harlem Shake
BIG Brother star Josie Gibson helped Bristolians hold the city’s first Harlem Shake to raise money for charity.
The 27-year-old, from Fishponds, has had a rapid rise to fame since winning the C4 entertainment show in 2010.
She popped down to the event as a favour to old friend Marcus Norman, 34, who volunteered to start the Harlem Shake which was organised to raise money for homeless charities The Julian Trust and Caring at Christmas.
On Saturday they were joined by more than 50 others wearing onesies, colourful wigs, nun costumes, superhero masks - and two young men who braved the cold in thongs.

Leyton Gregory, 35, of Stoke Gifford, who organised the event, said: “The Harlem Shake has been going for years but recently everybody has been doing their own version and we decided that Bristol needed to do theirs.
“It is all about getting together, having a bit of fun and raising money for charity into the bargain.”
Each participant paid a £1 to join in the ‘Bristol Harlem Shake’ which took place in Castle Park on Saturday.
Josie said: “Marcus is my best mate so I wanted to get involved. It’s a lot of fun and for a great cause.”
