United open up the title race
NAILSEA United gave the chasing pack renewed hope with a 3-0 home win over long-time Premier Division leaders Berrow.
Fourth-placed Nailsea are now seven ponts adrift of Berrow with two games in hand.
Second-placed Minehead are three points behind Berrow following a 6-1 home victory against mid-table Nailsea Town.
Stefan Phillips gave Minehead an early lead from a free-kick, but Nailsea equalised through Gary Freeman. However, Chris Newbold and Guy Burns made it 3-1 to Minehead by the break and further goals followed from Damien Redman (2) and Phillips.

Third-placed Ashton & Backwell kept their title bid going with a 2-1 win at Watchet, as did Shirehampton, who enjoyed an 8-1 home success against bottom side St George (EiG).
Scott Bamford scored four for Shirehampton, whose other goals came from Robbie Sage, Kyle O'Donovan, Ryan McCall and an own goal. Simon Rigg scored for St George.
Cutters Friday have dropped to eighth in the table following a 2-1 home defeat to Weston St Johns.
