Trundle hopeful goals will seal move away from Bristol City
Bristol City star Lee Trundle is hoping his recent return to goal-scoring form will earn him a permanent move to Swansea.
Out-of-favour at Ashton Gate and desperate to get away, the 33-year-old rejoined the Swans on loan in August. But boss Paulo Sousa declined to take Trundle for the whole season and his current deal is due to expire at the end of December.

Trundle knows there is no future for him in Bristol and is determined not to spend the second half of the Championship campaign sitting in the stands.
City manager Gary Johnson is just as keen for the £1 million forward to remain at the Liberty Stadium, yet Swans boss Sousa is still giving no indication as to whether Trundle will be offered a new deal in the next three weeks.
Although Trundle has made only eight appearances for the Swans since returning in August, he has done his chances of staying in west Wales no harm in recent games, scoring twice in a 2-2 draw against Peterborough last weekend and then netting the winner against Plymouth Argyle in midweek.
But he admits uncertainty over his future is now becoming a major concern.
"There's pressure on me," he concedes. "It doesn't matter what I did before at Swansea, when I came back there was pressure because the management and the players have changed.
"It's been a bit of a weight on my shoulders wondering what might happen, because it's as if you are on trial every day. You can't relax at any time. But it's nice to have been on the pitch a little bit more and to have scored a couple of goals."
Sousa seldom uses Trundle from the start of a game and he was again expected to be among the substitutes at Nottingham Forest today. Should he come on, he will not fail because of any lack of motivation.
"It's more than just a game of football when I go out there right now," said Trundle. "It's about my livelihood, and it's about staying at a club that I love. Every time I get on the pitch I'm playing with passion and playing with my heart."
