Trump feels the Pinch in Prestatyn
Keynsham potter Judd Trump has failed to qualify for this month's BBC-televised Welsh Open.
The 19-year-old slipped to a 5-3 defeat to Norwich cueman Barry Pinches in yesterday's penultimate round of qualifying in Prestatyn, North Wales.

And it was little surprise the promising teenager was disappointed with his display at the Pontin's Holiday Park, for it was the first time he has lost a qualifying match all season.
"I didn't play great, but he deserved to win," reflected the provisional world No 29.
"I played alright, but I suppose I had to lose a match sometime.
"Some of the frames were long and scrappy. I prefer to make breaks."
Trump started the better and led 2-1 thanks to breaks of 89 and 40.
But Pinches, the world No 50, pocketed runs of 82, 68 and 136 to book his place in the next round.
A break of 87 saw Trump level at 3-3, but Pinches won two marathon frames to progress.
One frame dragged on for nearly 45 minutes, before the final frame lasted 53 minutes as Trump was finally beaten.
Nailsea professional Andrew Norman went out of the competition on Wednesday.
