During the year there are three rehearsal residencies which culminate in public concerts. The venues will include Barbican Hall London, Leeds Town Hall, the Sage Gateshead, The Royal Festival Hall and Royal Albert Hall, where the prom will be televised.
Conductors will include John Wilson, Simone Young and Vasily Petrenko.
The National Children's Orchestra is Great Britain’s premier symphony orchestra for children, offering children a life-changing experience with training from top professional musicians.
Jo said: “It is a wonderful opportunity to meet and play with other musicians, work with inspiring professionals, wonderful conductors and guest artists.”
