Traffic lights in city: Death was a shame
I have read the letters section (Evening Post, October 19) and am in complete agreement with Eddie Smith of Chipping Sodbury about Bristol City's attitude to Bristol traffic. I wrote in about traffic lights in Bristol recently and the number was only 10 in the letter printed, but it's like another 60 sets on top on the route mentioned. What a shame, the death of David Burnside. He was the same age as me. I remember him at school – Woodstock Secondary in Kingswood – with the likes of Bobby Jones, Joe Davis, Ray Graydon, Steve White. I expect he will have a big funeral somewhere.
