Traffic chaos near Temple Meads after woman comes off motorcycle
TRAFFIC chaos ensued this morning after a motorcyclist came off her vehicle near Bristol Temple Meads.
An ambulance was called at 9.05am after the woman, believed to be in her 30s, suffered leg injuries after coming off her motorcycle.

There was no indictation that another vehicle was involved in the incident that took place on York Road, near the rounabout by Bristol Temple Meads.
The incident has caused significant traffic problems in the area.

The woman was taken to Frenchay but her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Thanks for your response, I don't know if the incident was reported or not, I only found out about the accident yesterday. I will be encouraging them to report it if they haven't, but guess their first priority was getting to the hospital and getting her fixed.”

I am sorry to hear your friend was badly injured and hope she recovers fully.
The information I obtained was from the ambulance service who had attended the scene as I was unable to get hold of police at the time.
Having seen your comment I have contacted the police who have strangely have no record of the incident. This seems very unusual given you state it was a hit and run.
Do you know if it was reported? We would usually work with the police to help locate offenders in a situation like this so please do get in touch.”

“I'm not sure were the post gets its information, but the accident involved a friend of mine who is a cyclist. She we knocked off when coming down the Bath road heading towards Temple Meads by a white van trying to turn left down York Road. She has just undergone an operation at Frenchay after suffering a factured femur and plevis.
The driver of the van did not stop, so if anyone has any information then please inform the police.”

I have never heard a motorcyle described as a "vehicle!
Although its strictly accurate:
