Mr Jones said: "I am a strong supporter of the Bedminster community and the need to keep the local shopping areas thriving through encouraging people to support smaller independent retailers and high streets. There are so many worthy causes in the area that I'm sure it will be very hard to choose a winner but I would like to be able to make a difference to the lives of people at Christmas through the donation."
Written nominations can also be submitted by the closing date to Bedminster Xmas Gift, C/O Wilkinson, 142-146 East Street, Bedminster, BS3 4EW.
