A new direct hourly bus service linking Radstock and Midsomer Norton to Bristol, which will be run by bus operator First and subsidised by Bath and North East Somerset Council, will start running on April 2.

Currently there is only one direct morning peak journey into Bristol and one back in the afternoon.

The new improved 379 service will be in addition to the 376 service which runs from Wells to Bristol.
