TOOLSTATION PREMIER: Lee Lashenko believes the capture of Stuart Tovey can spur his Bishop Sutton side on to new heights as they bid to continue their impressive march up the table at home to Calne Town tomorrow.

Four wins and a draw from their last five Premier Division outings means Sutton head into the game knowing a win will put them joint third with Welton Rovers, who are embroiled in FA Vase action at Bideford.

Tovey could well make his debut following his arrival on a dual-registration basis from Paulton Rovers and Lashenko grinned: "Stuart is a friend of mine and I've been trying to sign him for about three years!

"He can play in central midfield or at right-back, and, while he's understandably keen to stake a claim for Paulton's first team, I'm confident he'll enjoy his football for us."

Young striker George Brimson has been ruled out of Hallen's home fixture with Sherborne Town because of a hamstring complaint and fears further enforced time on the sidelines.

Brimson was sent off for a "reckless challenge", according to assistant manager Andy Hicks, in Saturday's 1-0 home defeat by Radstock and is awaiting news of a likely suspension.

In the meantime, new signing Josh White is eyeing a first start tomorrow, while fellow forwards Matt Knight and Matt Davis come into the reckoning.
