Tired Bitton suffer second successive defeat
Toolstation League Premier Division leaders Bitton lost for the second game in a row as Dawlish ran out 3-0 winners.
Hot on the heels of their 4-1 defeat by Bishop Sutton, the result leaves Andy Black's side four points ahead of the second-placed Devonians with three games still in hand.
Bitton have a home game with third-placed Bristol Manor Farm on Wednesday.
Black blamed his side's win over Shortwood United in the GFA Trophy last Monday, which required extra-time and penalties, for the two league defeats.
He said: "That game took a lot out of the players. We looked a very tired side and have been finding it hard to score goals."
Against Dawlish, Bitton had Rob Scott sent off for two bookable offences with 25 minutes remaining and all three goals were scored after that.
Manor Farm went down 1-0 to a late solo goal from Corsham Town's Adam Heath.
Brislington stretched their unbeaten run to 11 games, during which time they have conceded just one goal, with a 1-0 home victory over Barnstaple Town.
Charlie Rich got the goal when his speculative cross from 35 yards out deceived the Barnstaple goalkeeper and looped into the net.
Fourth-placed Hallen were held to a goalless draw by visiting Street.
Bishop Sutton manager Lee Lashenko believes his side can continue to climb the table despite drawing 0-0 at Radstock Town.
In Division One, leaders Larkhall Athletic trounced Bridport 5-0, while second- placed Longwell Green Sports' match at Westbury United ended scoreless.
Oldland Abbotonians won 2-0 in their local derby at Cadbury Heath thanks to second-half goals from Wayne Pearce and Jason Side.
Hengrove Athletic went down 1-0 at struggling Odd Down, while Almondsbury came from 3-0 down at Shrewton United to win 4-3 with goals from Johnny Gill (2), Mark Stoneman and Adam Grinter.
Roman Glass St George took a first-half lead at Shepton Mallet, but had to settle for a 1-1 draw in the end.
