Four men were arrested for drug dealing in Easton after tip-offs from members of the public.

One man was arrested on the Bristol to Bath railway path for possession with intent to supply and a further three men were arrested after police raided a flat in Croydon House, Croydon Street.

At the apartment, police seized 14g of what is believed to be uncut heroin, with a street value of £1,200, as well as drug-dealing paraphernalia.

PC Ben Andreas, beat manager for Lawrence Hill, said: "This is a good example of the police and the community working together to identify the issues that are a priority for people living in the neighbourhood.

"It is important that we have the support of the community.

"It is equally important the community can be confident that we will act on information provided by the public and that it can lead to successful results, as in this case, with four arrests and the seizure of illegal drugs that may otherwise have been on our streets."
