Wacky entertainer Timmy Mallet took time out from his pantomime duties to meet four-year-old Mark Palmer at the Playhouse Theatre in Weston.

Timmy, recently seen in the jungle of Australia as a contestant in I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, is currently starring at the Playhouse in Peter Pan, which runs until Sunday, January 11.

As a patron of the ChildrenToday charity, Timmy met Mark at the theatre to present him with a special car seat which will help him see more of what's going on around him while he is being driven in the car.

Timmy, who was a star of children's TV when he hosted the Wide Awake Club, is a patron of the charity and said he was delighted to be able to help Mark, who suffers from scoliosis, cerebral palsy and is partially sighted.
