Tickets for T4 On The Beach on sale on Friday

TICKETS for this year's T4 on the Beach in Weston-super-Mare will go on sale on Friday.

Preparations are already underway to bring the UK's biggest beach party, which celebrates its 10th birthday this year, back to the sands on July 1.

Crowds of thousands are expected to pack the beach to enjoy a line up of the biggest and best pop starts and hottest urban acts.

Hosted by T4 presenters, there will also be special appearances from cast members from Channel 4's best loved programmes.

Tickets for last year's event, which saw 25 acts including The Wanted and Olly Murs take to the stage, sold out in record time. Once tickets go on sale this week, artist announcements will follow.

It is the eighth time the show will take place in Weston-super-Mare and over the last decade, masses of top music acts have graced the T4 stage such as Lily Allen, Busta Rhymes, Akon, Girls Aloud, Sugababes, JLS, Tinchy Stryder, Dizzee Rascal, Kaiser Chiefs, Florence + The Machine, Will Young, Neyo, Plan B and Kelly Rowland.

Neil McCallum, head of T4 & Music said: "T4 On The Beach is going to be a really special one this year as it's the tenth anniversary show.

"We've got loads of exciting acts to announce over the coming months and we think this year's line-up will be the best yet.

"We love coming to Weston-super-Mare each year and the summer just wouldn't be the same without T4 On The Beach."
