More than 100 local and regional organisations, including employers, universities, colleges, training providers and volunteering organisations, were represented. The event was organised by the Concorde Partnership, a collaboration between three schools and South Gloucestershire and Stroud College, and the Kingswood Partnership, which is a partnership of schools and colleges in the area.

It was staged yesterday in collaboration with South Gloucestershire Council, UWE, City of Bristol College and South Gloucestershire and Stroud College. Students were able to get a clear and realistic view of what particular jobs were like and an insight into the sorts of skills and abilities that local and national employers' value in potential employees.
