Things we like about our city
One of our favourite things about Bristol is Banksy – he's brilliant. Not only is his work inspirational, but it's a breath of fresh air.
If you are familiar with it, you will know that he doesn't only create pieces in Bristol (his hometown), but all over the world, and he is famous for it everywhere.
Thank you, Banksy, for brightening up the streets.
2. Bristol Ice Rink
The perfect place to meet new people and have a laugh.
Make sure you take warm clothing and, if it's your first time, be careful not to fall over!
We know that it needs a makeover as the Nineties theme is a bit too retro. However the disco sessions (8.30pm-10pm, three times a week) are great fun.
Bristol Ice Rink, Frogmore Street, call 0117 929 2148 or go to www.jnll.co.uk/bristol.php
3. Oceana
A great night out for us from 6.30pm to 11pm, for teenagers aged 13 to 17 years old. The club has recently had a lot of well-known artists and DJs there including DJ Ironik and H two O. Dates are shown on its website. Make sure you book your tickets online though, as the pay-on-the-door queue can become very long.
Oceana, South Building, Canons Road, call 08452 932860 or go to www.oceanaclubs.com/bristol/
