Thieves steal horse riding equipment
Horse riding equipment worth more than £6,000 has been stolen from a yard in Kingston Seymour.
Thieves broke into a barn at Back Lane in the village on Saturday by forcing off the security padlock.
Once inside, the raiders stole horse tack, riding equipment and clothing, as well as feed and hay.
Included in the haul was a custom-made saddle worth £2,000.
The thieves loaded the items into an Ifor Williams HB504 trailer stored at the compound, before hitching the trailer to their car and making an escape.
Police are appealing to anyone who may be offered any suspicious equipment to call 00845 4567000.
