Thief hands over items stolen from parked cars
A YOUNG thief has handed over items he had stolen from unlocked cars to police – but no one had reported them missing.
The 14-year-old boy stole from three cars parked in Gordon Road, Clifton, and the surrounding area at 5am on Monday. He admitted he was responsible for the thefts when he handed in the items to police on Wednesday.
Police now want the owners of a motorbike helmet, leather notepad, CDs, sat nav system, set of keys, sunglasses and two squash rackets to contact Detective Constable Gary Booth on 101.
