Theatre in Bristol: Stages on Saturday, March 16 & Sunday, March 17, Colston Hall, Bristol
This weekend sees the return of this packed youth dance weekender. About 1,500 children, aged between four and 19, will take to the Colston Hall stage over the weekend, in some 80 performances from schools and dance companies, in styles ranging from hip hop and Bollywood to ballet and contemporary. The weekend is divided into four sessions, each of which will feature about 20 three-minute dance shows.
Producer Shona Symons, says: "It is a great opportunity for young people to perform their work in a professional venue as part of some very high quality shows."
