Thank you for your support
I would like to thank the 236 strong-minded and faithful residents living in the Lawrence Hill ward who put their cross by my name on Thursday, June 4.
I was the first British National Party candidate to stand for election to Bristol City Council in the ward, and I was so pleased this number of electors had not been deterred by the lies, slander, deception and smears written or spoken about the party, particularly over the last few weeks.
Our dedicated "foot soldiers" have been delivering leaflets throughout this city for weeks and weeks, and I would like to acknowledge their efforts publicly, and also those of our superb local management team.
Mrs. Janette Dunster-Ashman, British National Party Candidate, Lawrence Hill Ward.

“You mean the 236 people who were foolish enough not to look past the veneer of respectability you try to paste over your nasty little divisive party's policies!
I visit the BNP website most days to see what lies, slander, deception and smears have been pasted there. What do I see? Scare stories with no foundation, evil anti-Muslim propaganda, exaggerated claims about asylum seekers. At the end of the day we are all human beings and citizens of the world. We should respect other's beliefs and try to learn from them, not reject them out of hand.
I say again, anyone considering voting BNP should visit their website and make their own minds up about whether they are racists or not.
I have, I have, and they are!”
