I WRITE this letter to thank you, the Bristol Evening Post, re the final resting place of my deceased aunt's husband, one Frederick (Ed) Salisbury.

I was absolutely amazed at the number of people that replied advising me how to find that information.

But for me, the icing on the cake was when a representative of the firm that had arranged my uncle's funeral back in 1967 phoned me and advised me that my uncle was to be found in the Arnos Vale Crematorium. From there, everything went like clockwork.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the charming ladies at Arnos Vale, who did everything possible to make my visit flow smoothly. Thank you, ladies.
