Tesco shopper targeted by thieves in people carrier
A WOMAN had her handbag snatched as she walked across a supermarket car park.
Avon and Somerset police spokeswoman Jenny Bigwood said: "The 40-year-old woman was walking across the car park of Tesco in Thornbury at 8pm last night when a dark-coloured people carrier drove past her and the occupant grabbed her bag, pulling her to the ground before driving off.
"Thankfully she was not seriously hurt. As part of our Operation Relentless drive to keep people safe, officers later arrested two men, aged 30 and 31, who remain in custody."
Witnesses should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.

“Well done the police for catching these people.
The comment on this board by Mikeydooley is particularly offensive and he should be ashamed of himself.”

“I think in my humble opinion so take it on board if you wish but the criminal here is one of the 3008 youths just hanging around car park scaring folk. God wish they could all get meningitis”
