People in Clevedon are being invited to share their concerns with police at weekly meetings in the town.

Police and Communities Together (PACT) meetings are being organised by officers in the town at the Morrison's car park every Thursday between 10am and 1pm.

The meetings will run through June and July and officers will be there for people to talk to about issues in the community.

They will also have crime prevention and road safety information and products for sale.

Clevedon police sergeant Gareth Starr said: "We ran these open meetings last year and they were very successful. We want to encourage the community to come and talk to us so they can inform us of the problems and issues that directly affect their quality of life."

For further information about meetings please contact the Safer Stronger Neighbourhood policing team on 0845 456 7000 or visit www.avonandsomerset.police.uk/inyourarea.
