Teenager acting suspiciously in Thornbury arrested

A TEENAGER spotted hanging around a car at 1.15am was arrested on suspicion of theft.

The 18-year-old was arrested in the early hours of Thursday, January 24 after a police patrol saw him acting suspiciously by a car in Gillingstool, Thornbury.

He was released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Neighbourhood PC Natalie Draper said: "Thornbury is a lower crime area, but I'd still ask people to be security-conscious.
