This week, we feature a report submitted on the match between Portishead United Under-14s and Burnham Under-14s.
United faced their toughest test yet as table-toppers Burnham arrived at Bristol Road.
The game didn't start well for United as, with only four minutes gone, Burnham went 1-0 up after being given too much space in the box. After some good football the visitors went 2-0 up.
With half-time approaching, the visitors notched their third after United players backed off allowing their striker to unleash a rocket into the top corner.
After a long punt upfield from United's keeper Mcbride, man of the match Toby Allen shrugged off the attention of the defender to slide the ball past the keeper giving United renewed hope. With only a few minutes remaining Burnham sealed their victory with a fourth goal and cemented their place at the top of the table.
