Team news: Plymouth Argyle v Bristol Rovers
Bristol Rovers manager Mark McGhee has offered defender Garry Kenneth his first competitive start for Bristol Rovers at Plymouth Argyle tonight.
The Scottish central defender has been hampered by injuries since arriving on a free from Dundee United over the summer, but has been fast-tracked back into action as McGhee attempts to field a side capable of winning for the first time this season.
Elsewhere, McGhee has also dropped defender Michael Smith and striker Eliot Richards to the bench following Saturday's 4-0 defeat at Gillingham. David Clarkson will play up front on his own after it was confirmed yesterday that Matt Harrold is to miss the majority of the season with a knee injury.
The manager is hoping that Matthew Lund, Oliver Norburn and Fabian Broghammer will add support from midfield after being handed rare starts. Jim Paterson also starts on the bench and is replaced at left-back by Lee Brown.
