Team news: Bristol Rovers v Plymouth Argyle
Bristol Rovers boss John Ward hand debuts to the three players who arrived at the club yesterday in a side showing six changes from the one that secured a draw at Aldershot on Boxing Day.
Steve Mildenhall replaces Sam Walker in goal after completing a loan move from Millwall and is behind a back four to which Lee Brown comes in to replace the injured Jim Paterson.
Tom Parkes drops back from midfield to replace suspended skipper Garry Kenneth at the heart of the defence and has also been made captain for the day. John-Joe O'Toole comes straight into a midfield three alongside Matt Lund and Oliver Norburn – Seanan Clucas drops to the bench, while David Clarkson misses out through injury.
Tom Hitchcock plays on his own up front after completing a loan deal to join from QPR yesterday and replaces Tom Eaves, who has returned to parent club Bolton Wanderers.

In his programme notes, Ward said: "For many, a new year represents a new start and a change in fortunes. With so many games in a short space of time over this time of year, what happens can have a very telling effect on the outcome at the end of April.
"There will be situations where teams are divided by only one point or even goal difference at the end of the season, so all that is gained or lost now can become vital later on.
"There will be surprise results as games are so close together, so it is important how we train, play and recover over this period. For me, all players and football people have their Christmas in June and this time of year is for everybody else to enjoy and to be entertained."
