Team Bath top-scorer Steve Abbott has joined Blue Square Premier side Wrexham on trial and will miss today's trip to Hayes and Yeading.

The midfielder is bidding for a professional contract with the Welsh outfit.

Left-back Greg Lake, 20, has been recalled from his loan spell with Frome Town and is likely to make his debut.

Andy Caton (stomach muscle) and Mickey Bell (hamstring) are both injured, while Shaun Lamb is unavailable. Darren Chitty will continue in goal.

Bath City welcome back veteran goalkeeper Steve Perrin for their home game with Maidenhead.

Regular No 1 Paul Evans starts a three-game ban so the Paulton Rovers man stands in.

Adam Connolly (groin) and Lewis Hogg (suspension) are available again.

Winger Ali Gibb could make his Bath debut before Christmas. The former Bristol Rovers man broke an ankle in pre-season.

Weston-super-Mare will be without striker Ryan Havard, who has left the club, and defender Cederic Abraham (suspension) for today's home game with Basingstoke.

Dorchester Town entertain Welling United at the Jewson Stadium.

The Magpies will give late fitness tests to flu victim Gary Bowles and Mark Jermyn (knee injury).

Dorchester have yet to record a home win in the league.

Meanwhile, Welling United, who have eight league wins to their credit so far this season and are currently on a six-match unbeaten run in all competitions, warmed up for today's game with a 2-1 victory over AFC Totton in the midweek FA Trophy replay.
