Taunton Town manager not happy despite win over Bodmin
Taunton boss Paul West was clearly not pleased with his side's display in this preliminary round tie against the Carlsberg SW Peninsula League outfit.
"All I can say is that there is a lot of room for improvement," said West. "There were times when we put some good moves together, and there were times when we couldn't put two passes together."
Bodmin created the better chances but found themselves losing out to a splendid headed winner by centre-back Owen Irish in the 87th minute. But the real star was Lloyd Irish who made a string of fine saves. Darren Rice put Taunton ahead in the 72nd minute and Luke Hodge equalised two minutes later. Taunton had substitute Ben Newby sent off 10 minutes from time.
