Slough Town 2 Taunton Town 2: Caretaker manager Paul Short began his four-match spell in charge of Taunton with a vital point in Division One South & West of the BGB Southern League.

But Short knows it will be much tougher today when Taunton play runaway leaders Truro City at Wordsworth Drive.

Taunton moved out of the relegation zone with the point.

All the goals were packed into the final 15 minutes of the game.

Danny Jordan put Slough ahead but Nick McCootie equalised only a minute later. Matthew Platt headed Slough back in front, but Twaine Plummer levelled from the penalty spot late on.
