Talks over a deal with Rodgers are set to begin
Yeovil Town are planning to open talks with Luke Rodgers' agent this week.
A transfer fee believed to be in the region of £30,000 has been agreed between the Glovers and the striker's club Port Vale.

But personal terms with Rodgers have yet to be discussed and the Brummie striker wants a two-and-a-half-year contract.
Yeovil fans will recall that the Huish Park board balked at offering a similar length deal to Stockport defender Gareth Owen last month.
But supporters will be hoping for a different outcome after Rodgers, who turns 27 today, ended 2008 by netting in successive games.
Time is of the essence as Rodgers' current loan deal has expired and Yeovil will begin preparing for Tuesday's home game with Scunthorpe this weekend.
Chief executive Martyn Starnes said: "We are going to have discussions about Luke with the manager (Russell Slade) on Thursday or Friday. No doubt that will involve Luke's agent and we will see what happens from there.
"Luke has done very well. At the end of the day it is down to the manager and I'm pretty sure he would want to keep him but it's his call.
"We then need to make sure the financial arrangements are correct for the club.
"As far as ourselves and Port Vale are concerned there was something agreed (in terms of a fee) so there shouldn't be any need to go back on that situation. But terms will still have to be agreed with Luke.
"The length of contract is something we will have to discuss with Russell and Luke and his agent and we will have to see what they are proposing.
"Luke has given us some energy up front and got the goals in the last two games and everybody has been impressed with his performances and how he has improved since he began his loan spell suffering from illness."
